We will ask what your goal is, what is important to your organization. For some its time, security, maximum return, sustainability, philanthropy, maybe you just want IT gone, or something new for us to learn.
We can do an initial evaluation and provide pricing as a return to you or cost of processing and disposal. Either way, we can give you a general estimate with an inventory list. For more complex projects we would come onsite or across multiple sites and complete a full work flow for you. Some jobs are a simple pick up, some require seamless transfer of data or access while hardware is replaced.
Every job is unique. TSAR designs decommissioning projects based on site, location, hardware, data, transportation, supplies, personnel, language, culture, deadlines and any other parameter our client needs to consider.
Data security is in the headlines more and more as tactical breaches occur daily. TSAR secures your data in cages prior to destruction and after recording the serial number of the device and the corresponding drive or data containing device. Don't be fooled! The only way to properly perform secure data destruction is to destroy the device containing the data. The only exception is data chips such as SSD drives which can be effectively wiped.
All of our nationwide partners hold one or more of R2/R3 E-Steward and meet or exceed NIST 800-88 standards or DoD 5200.22-M.
